Ten years ago, I took the first steps in my journey towards the Catholic Church. Five years ago this coming Easter, I was confirmed into it as a Catholic. It has been an amazing journey so far, during which I have discovered so much about the history of the Church and the depths of faith. But few aspects of my journey into the Church have touched me like the discovery of the sacraments. The moment I received the Holy Eucharist for the first time, I discovered a new intimacy with God that was irresistible – an experience repeated in all of the sacraments.

I started nuCatholic Media while working on my masters in digital media at the Harvard Extension School. My capstone project was to create the first chapter of 7 of an interactive documentary called Food for the Journey. This online experience looks at how the sacraments have played an important part of drawing many adults into the Catholic Church from many different backgrounds. I finished the first phase in May 2015. I am now revisiting the project and hope to complete it.
